After more than a decade of working as a career stylist in Grosse Pointe and many years of salon management experience, I am excited to say I am now co-owner of Wildflower and Company! The best part of being a stylist is my CLIENTS!! I enjoy getting to know each of my clients and becoming a part of their lives! I love doing color, highlighting and haircutting (including Kids Cuts!!), I specialize in styling, special event hair and extensions! I am a hard worker and will continue to challenge myself to grow in my career and as an individual. I could have never done this without my family! I am married with 2 beautiful children! And we enjoy spending our time together! Because of the love and support of my family, friends, client and mentor, I am able to bring you this authentic space with a client obsessed culture! I am so excited for this new journey and to share it with our team at Wildflower & Company!

Hello! We're Carly & Christa!
For over a decade we managed David the Salon, together. Over time, our bond deepened, and we discovered a shared pool of ideas. In 2013, our collaboration soared as Salon Managers, unveiling our ability to achieve anything together. Under the guidance of our mentor, David Cockell, we explored our entrepreneurial spirits, fueled by his insistence on excellence and perpetual growth.
However, June 2021 marked a significant change as David the Salon closed its doors due to David's terminal illness diagnosed in October 2020. Working alongside David had been our dream, yet reality took an unexpected turn. His dedication in nurturing, training, and shaping us resembled tending to seedlings, which has now blossomed into Wildflower Hair Lounge. Like a wildflower, our salon emerged organically, unplanned yet nurtured, resembling the beauty of a cultivated garden flower.
In March 2021, we embarked on this new journey, securing the lease for Wildflower Hair Lounge, guided by David's wisdom and support. Through countless late nights and with the unwavering assistance of our loved ones, we meticulously designed every aspect of our salon—a sanctuary for creativity, self-care, and community. From the carefully selected decor to the innovative products and techniques, every detail reflects our dedication to providing an unparalleled experience for our clients.
Today, we are thrilled to introduce you to Wildflower and Company—a haven where passion meets craftsmanship, and where every client is welcomed with warmth and authenticity. Our team of talented stylists, nail technicians, and estheticians shares our commitment to excellence, continuously seeking inspiration and pushing boundaries to deliver exceptional results.
